SC.01 - ABSTRACT
Handcrafted in Madrid, Spain.
An architectural fragment from an imagined place.
ABSTRACT explores the verticality and structural complexity of Brutalist architecture through a dense composition of intersecting lines, overlapping volumes, and fragmented frameworks. Its intricate geometry evokes a monumental structure, balancing architectural precision with sculptural abstraction.
Vertical elements, diagonal planes, and deep structural openings create a layered composition that reveals shifting perspectives and shadows. Despite its compact scale, the piece retains a monumental presence, suggesting a fragment extracted from a larger, undefined architecture.
Hand-cast in a mineral composite of high-strength plaster and ultra-fine cement, the sculpture features a naturally matte finish and subtle surface texture. Mineral pigments are integrated directly into the material, giving it depth and consistent color throughout.
