BO.02 - Waiting for Nobody

Handcrafted in Madrid, Spain.

Inspired by Brutalist and contemporary architecture, this sculptural bookend explores the relationship between mass, structure, and void. Its composition of intersecting blocks, fragmented volumes, and structural elements evokes a fragment extracted from an imagined architectural construction.

Conceived somewhere between a functional object and an architectural sculpture, its geometric composition brings a distinctive structural presence to shelves and contemporary interiors.

Hand-cast in a mineral composite of high-strength plaster and ultra-fine cement, the piece features a naturally matte finish and subtle surface texture. Mineral pigments are integrated directly into the material, giving it depth and consistent color throughout.
