SC.03 - Hedgehog looking outside
Handcrafted in Madrid, Spain.
A dense composition of intersecting beams, vertical frameworks, and suspended volumes gives this architectural sculpture its distinctive structural character. Inspired by Brutalist and modernist architecture, its fragmented geometry evokes an exposed framework extracted from an imagined monumental structure.
A prominent curved element interrupts the rigid arrangement of columns and horizontal planes, creating a contrast between structural precision and sculptural movement. Openings and recessed spaces reveal shifting perspectives, allowing light and shadow to transform the composition from different angles.
Hand-cast in a mineral composite of high-strength plaster and ultra-fine cement, the piece features a naturally matte finish and subtle surface texture. Its mineral coloration is integrated directly into the material, preserving the depth and character of its raw architectural expression.
