An intricate architectural composition exploring structural rhythm, geometric complexity, and sculptural movement.

Inspired by Brutalist architecture, this sculpture explores the relationship between structure, movement, and void. Its intricate arrangement of intersecting frames, vertical elements, and flowing curved surfaces evokes fragments of an imagined architectural façade, creating a dynamic interplay between rigid geometry and organic forms.

Conceived as an abstract architectural composition rather than a representation of an existing building, the piece combines structural complexity with sculptural fluidity. Two prominent curved surfaces contrast with the surrounding geometric framework, introducing movement and tension while revealing shifting depths, shadows, and perspectives from different viewpoints.

Hand-cast in a custom mineral composite of ultra-fine cement and high-strength alpha plaster, the piece combines intricate structural details with a naturally matte finish and subtle mineral texture.

Somewhere between architectural abstraction and contemporary sculpture, it brings a distinctive artistic presence to modern interiors.

MATERIAL & CRAFTSMANSHIP

Each sculpture is individually cast and finished by hand in my Madrid studio. Subtle variations in tone, pores, and surface texture are inherent to the process, making every piece unique.

Rooted in artistic and architectural experimentation, the object reflects Studio Luminis' exploration of structural rhythm, geometric expression, materiality, and sculptural composition.
