KYOTO
This lamp is compatible exclusively with LED bulbs (approx. 10W max.). The bulb is not included.
This architectural lamp is conceived as a sculptural light object inspired by contemporary architecture and modernist abstraction. Designed and assembled by an architect, it merges architectural language with functional design to create a refined luminous object.
Rather than representing a real building, the piece evokes an imagined architectural fragment: a study in volumes, proportions, and light. When illuminated, it reveals a subtle interplay of shadows and depth, transforming the object into a living architectural presence within the interior.
The upper structure is 3D-printed in white PLA and hand-finished in studio. Its precise geometry and clean lines draw directly from architectural façades, modular systems, and volumetric studies, resulting in a composition that feels both constructed and conceptual.
It rests on a solid high-resistance concrete base, cast by hand. The raw mineral surface contrasts with the refined precision of the printed structure, creating a tension between craft and contemporary fabrication. This dialogue between materials defines the identity of the piece.
