More than a simple bookend, this object is a presence.

Born from an architect’s perspective, it embodies a search for balance between geometric rigor and material sensitivity. Its form, reduced to the essential, evokes a silent architecture — a pure, almost meditative structure conceived to engage in dialogue with the surrounding space.

Each piece is entirely handcrafted in my studio in Madrid using a custom-formulated high-performance concrete. The use of ultra-fine aggregates allows for exceptional precision: sharp edges, refined surfaces, and subtle details. Nothing is left to chance.

The warm ochre tone is integrated directly into the material itself through natural mineral pigments. It does not simply coat the object — it becomes part of it. Deep and durable, the color will neither peel nor flake, giving the piece an almost mineral quality, somewhere between earth and light.

Its minimalist silhouette is rooted in a timeless architectural aesthetic. Both functional and sculptural, this bookend structures a bookcase, enhances a shelf, or punctuates a space with quiet precision. It occupies the void without ever overwhelming it.
